We know walking into a church for the first time isn’t always easy. That’s why we keep it simple. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by people who are glad you came.
Services last about an hour and you won’t be ever be pressured, embarrassed, or put on the spot. We're normal and real people and we enjoy worship, practical teaching, and space to breathe.
So, whether your faith feels strong, you’re asking honest questions, or you’re somewhere in between. We think you'll feel like you easily belong here.

What to Expect
Here’s a rundown of what Sundays look like.
Come as you are. You'll see jeans, sweats, and shorts often, and whatever is comfortable; we think that's a win.
Wear What’s Comfortable
We recommend showing up around 15 minutes before the service starts so you can find parking, grab a free coffee and donuts, and get settled in.
When you get here
Check-in opens 15 minutes before service. Pre-register online to save time, or find the kids' kiosk in the lobby before service. They’ll walk you through everything you need to know!
Check In Your Kids
Worship services are about 60 minutes with live worship music and live, clear, biblical teaching with practical application. Our heart is to help you connect with Jesus and understand God's Word – so you can walk out the doors equipped for the week ahead.

A Note from Pastor Ryan
Walking into a new church takes courage. I get it.
Maybe you're looking for a place to belong. Maybe you're searching for answers. Maybe someone invited you and you're just checking it out. Whatever brought you here, I'm really glad you're considering Anchor.
My hope is that when you walk through our doors, you'll find a community that feels like home; a place where you're known and where faith isn't just a Sunday thing.
I'll be teaching most weekends, but I'm also around during the week; grabbing coffee, answering texts, and showing up when life gets hard. That's what pastors do. That's what community does.

Harbor Kids | Ages 0–5th Grade
Safe spaces where little hearts meet a big God. All in one-hour!
Here, your kids will hear Bible stories that come alive, worship with their whole hearts, and discover they're deeply loved by God. Our leaders are invested in helping children know Jesus, learn their bibles, and live it out.
What to Expect: Fun, Safe, and Intentional

Our team will be at the kids' check-in area to walk you through the process, answer questions, and make sure you feel confident before service starts. We’ve got you covered!
Anchor Students | Middle & High School
Anchor Youth is the place to be. We are here to make space for you to have a good time, build real friendships, and make Jesus your own.
There are a lot of voices telling you what to believe, who to be, and what will make you happy... but here, we just open the Bible, ask real questions, and search for truth... together.
Come hang out, find your people, and discover the purpose God has for your life.

What denomination are you?
Anchor Community Church is a non-denominational Christian church focused on helping people know and follow Jesus. We are rooted in biblical teaching, committed to the authority of Scripture, and passionate about helping people grow in faith and community. We networked with Converge, a group of churches that shares these same desire to multiply churches HERE. NERE. AND FAR.
Is communion offered?
Yes. We celebrate communion every week to remember Jesus’ sacrifice and keep the Gospel at the center of our gatherings. If you’ve placed your faith in Jesus, you’re welcome to participate. If you’re still exploring faith, you’re welcome to simply observe with no pressure at all.
What if I'm still exploring faith?
You're welcome here. We're not expecting you to have it all figured out. Come, listen, ask questions, and take your time. There's no pressure.
Will there be an offering?
We don’t pass a plate during the service, But yes - there are ways to give voluntarily for those who call Anchor home. People often give online or drop gifts in secure giving boxes throughout the building. If you’re visiting, please don’t feel any pressure to give.
What if I need to leave early or arrive late?
That's completely fine. Life happens. Come when you can, and don't worry about it.

WHAT IS THE SERVICE LIKE?
Our Sunday service is about 60 minutes and designed to be simple, meaningful, and welcoming. We spend time singing and worshiping together, usually around three songs, followed by a host who shares what’s happening at Anchor that day.
Then we open the Bible for a practical, engaging 30-minute message that helps connect God’s truth to everyday life.
